After the park, folks showed up at Durham’s Central park for music - it was an entirely trans / POC lineup (the only such lineup of any Pride, anywhere!). Huge thanks / congrats go to J. Clapp, the Director of The LGBTQ Center of Durham AKA Vivica C. Coxx, Durham’s drag diva, for organizing, booking, and being a driving force behind visibility, and gender and racial equity during Pride, and year ‘round. That was one hell of a run on sentence, but I’m a photographer, not a writer.
